| The Change of Watch was observed on Saturday, December 4, 2004. Commodore Walt Powell made his closing remarks, and presented the traditional end of year trophies & awards. He then introduced the new Board of Directors and Trustees for 2005, before turning the command over to Commodore Ben Givens. The ceremonies were concluded with the Flag Ceremony and the firing of the cannon to salute Commodore Givens. The Flag Officers, members and guests then enjoyed an excellent dinner dance with partying
continuing
until the wee hours.
