The Change of Watch was observed on Saturday, December 2, 2006. Commodore Dr. Robert Gunther made his closing remarks, and presented the traditional end of year trophies & awards. He then introduced the new Board of Directors and Trustees for 2007, before turning the command over to Commodore Andrew Spetz. The ceremonies were concluded with the traditional Flag Ceremony and the firing of the cannon to salute the new officers. The Flag Officers, members and guests then enjoyed an excellent dinner dance with partying continuing until the wee hours. |
