The Change of Watch was observed on Saturday, December 1, 2007. Commodore Andy Spetz made his closing remarks, and presented the traditional end of year trophies & awards. He then introduced the new Board of Directors and Trustees for 2008, before turning the command over to Commodore Gene Fleming. The ceremonies were concluded with the traditional Flag Ceremony and the firing of the cannon to salute the new officers. The Flag Officers, members and guests then enjoyed an excellent dinner dance with partying continuing until the wee hours. |
