Dining and Entertainment Facilities
Clearwater Yacht Club is proud to offer its members and their guests delicious
meals at reasonable prices. There is a fine mix of ala carte dining
as well as bountiful buffets. Menu items range from excellent salads
and sandwiches to fresh fish and prime rib.
Clearwater Yacht Club is on two levels, with dining options available on each.
The club was built to take advantage of the view, and both dining areas
have a wide expanse of windows and glass doors to enjoy looking at the water.
Downstairs, or the Dry Dock, has a seating capacity of sixty people. This area is
used for private parties, meetings, special functions, and the like.
It conveniently opens onto our patio, with additional seating available
underneath the awning. This has been the site of many great parties,
with the Tiki Bar as a focal point.
As a member, you and your guests can access the swimming pool from here, making for
fun afternoons and evenings, whether you want to enjoy our Florida climate
outdoors or go inside to the Dry Dock and dine in air conditioned comfort.
We have had as many as one hundred and eighty members during some of
our “dock parties”, flowing in and out of the Dry Dock and
Patio area, enjoying great food and fellowship.
The Taver Bayly Room, our main dining room is upstairs can accommodate one
hundred people. It is always set with linens, candles and fresh flowers
for a more formal atmosphere. It overlooks our marina and swimming pool,
and features a dance floor. Live entertainment is scheduled frequently.
Although this room is used mainly for dining each night of the week,
it is also available for private parties. As a member of Clearwater
Yacht Club you can take advantage of this.
Another option for private parties is the Boardroom, with a capacity of twenty
for any meal. As you might guess, it is also utilized for committee
meetings, and has quite a bit of flexibility. It also boasts a view
of the water, along with our beautiful swimming pool.
Still upstairs, the Grille Room is another dining option at Clearwater Yacht Club, with
seating for thirty. This room is one of the club’s favorite gathering
spots, with the Main Bar as the focus in the room. As a member, you
will want to stop here first for a refreshing beverage and the chance
to visit with other members and friends, before moving into the Taver
Bayly Room for dinner. The Grille menu is a bit more casual, featuring
everything from burgers and chicken sandwiches to fajitas and hot dogs.
One of the nicest things about Clearwater Yacht Club is that, members can order
from either the Grille menu or the dinner menu, regardless of where
they are seated in the club. You can order from the Grille menu even
if you are seated in the Taver Bayly Room, and vice versa. Choices!
Our Executive Chef, William Neibel, changes the menu seasonally, always
making sure that the core menu – Filet Mignon, Prime Rib, Fresh
Fish, and the like – remains intact. You’ll find lighter
fare in the summer months, and a large variety of regional and not-so-regional
cuisine. You can be assured that only the freshest and finest products
are purchased, and prepared with care and creativity.
Our professional staff , under the leadership of our capable General Manager, Tom Brusini,
is always ready and willing to accommodate any request from each and
every member. They are delighted to attend to any dietary needs, and
will always do their best to satisfy.
As a member of Clearwater Yacht Club you can enjoy the facilities and services of
the club and know that your dining experience will always be excellent.
