The Gulls

All new members of Clearwater Yacht Club are invited to join the Gulls. We are a group of ladies who meet every Wednesday in the Gulls Nest, downstairs at the Club. Many work on crafts which are sold in our Christmas Boatique; the proceeds are then used to support the Club. With these proceeds, the Gulls give specially needed items to the Club, such as a piano, dance floor, valances in the dining room, and appliances for the kitchen to name but a few.

We come to socialize which is a great opportunity to meet other members, and then have lunch. Afterwards many play Bridge. Those who are interested in other card games can often get a group together too.

We put together interesting programs on the fourth Wednesday in the month. As you can see from the picture, we had a "Beach-less Beach" party in June! The November Fashion Show and Boatique, and our Christmas Luncheon are especially popular. Club members often join us for these events.

Throughout the year we have fun trips, such as visiting art museums, taking trolley trips, and lunching at various restaurants.
