Wine Society

Wine, food and great company. What could make for a better evening? Initiated in 2003, the Wine Society has hosted fabulous tastings and gourmet dinners. Each tasting concentrates on wines from a particular grape or a specific wine growing region.

Besides being educated about the wines chosen for that evening, participants have also been dazzled by Executive Chef William Niebel’s culinary talents. Appropriate food samples are offered to compliment each wine. Each tasting has abounded not only in drink but also in great food!

The Society hosts two gourmet dinners annually featuring a carefully chosen wine to accompany a spectular six-course meal. These epicurean delights are one of the highlights of the Society.

The Society meets the last Thursday of the month. Society membership cost is $50 per person per year and include eight tasting events. The gourmet dinners are extra. Each tasting includes a generous sample of four different wines. The tastings have proved to be a smash hit and are a great way to get to meet other members, plus actually learn something about the wines we enjoy. Popular wines from these tasting are intended to be included on the Club’s standard fare Wine List.

It’s hard to pass up on a membership whose sole intent is to drink fabulous wine and eat gourmet food while having great fun with fellow members.
