Solmate Sunfish    

The CYC Solmates are a fun loving bunch of gals who enjoy sailing sunfish, being around the water, and getting together at various times of the year for parties, events and social gatherings. It’s not necessary to be a sunfish sailor to become a Solmate, but if you’d like to learn how to sail these boats, then the Solmates are 4 U! sail out of the Clearwater Community Sailing Center on Fridays and have bimonthly sailing instructions with Coach Kurt Taulbee. We also help out with regattas by volunteering on land or sea with the CYC Race Committee/Safety Committee – it’s a great way to meet new people and make some lifelong friends!

The Solmates are also members of the Florida Women’s Sailing Association (FWSA) and compete against other clubs affiliated with the FWSA and also in open regattas.
