Sunfish Sailing   

The CYC Sunfish Team has been making waves this summer launching at the Clearwater Community Sailing Center on Sand Key. Over 20 members participated in the first “Try a Sunfish Day” last month. Look for future opportunities to sail, including a lesson day coming up in October, the Thursday night fun sails out of the CCSC, the Sunfish Regional Championship Regatta October 27-28, and the Carlisle Classic Championship Regatta November 17-18.

The Solmates:

The ladies auxillary Sunfish Team (The Solmates) are gearing up to start their coaching sessions every other Friday beginning September 14 (men are also welcome to attend). The Solmates are members of the Florida Women’s Sailing Association and compete against other Clubs affiliated with the FWSA, as well as open Regattas with the entire CYC Sunfish team.
