The Clearwater Youth Sailing program was founded in 1987 with the objective of promoting sailing activities for area children. Over the years it has has developed into a very successful and competative program, with sailors ranging in age from 8 to 18 years old. The program is open to all young people with an interest in sailing, with races and practices being regularly scheduled for Optimist Dinghies and Lasers.
